As we head into the summer, it’s been a month of change here at Flamingo.
We’ve had another new starter, a team social and our office has had a complete makeover (more details in July’s newsletter!)
Let’s get into it.

...and then there were eight!
We may have only just welcomed a new team member, but here’s another one!
We’re delighted to welcome Eden as our Marketing and Sales Assistant.
With a background in sales and admin, she’s the perfect addition to our team, working closely with Emma and building strong relationships with our clients.
Welcome to the team, Eden!

Another candle on the cake
Flamingo Marketing Strategies is six years old!
Earlier this month, the team celebrated our company birthday with a lunchtime trip to the pub.
A bittersweet day, as Emma marked her late nan’s birthday, it was also a time to look forward to what the next 12 months have in store for us.

Strike!
With two new starters joining the flamboyance, we had our latest team social – bowling!
Although Oscar was the clear winner (thanks to his thorough preparation), George and Eden put in valiant efforts.
Despite failing to get a strike or spare all evening, Emma said, “This one will be a strike”, before hitting one with her final bowl!

Don't be a chameleon
Are you tired of blending in with other exhibitors at events?
From brochures to merchandise and your digital marketing strategy, there are so many things to consider to make your event appearance a success.
That’s why we’ve devised a quick checklist for you before you plan for your next exhibition.

Emma in Florida!
Last month, Emma headed to Florida and the Caribbean for two weeks to take a well-deserved break!
From swimming with pigs to mingling with flamingos (she had to stay on-brand), it’s safe to say it was a trip of a lifetime, and Emma was super proud of the team for keeping everything running smoothly without her.
One discovery she made was that Flamingos are actually pretty terrifying!

Five reasons to rebrand
Is it time for a brand refresh?
A few months ago, we published an article exploring when and why companies rebrand.
From futureproofing to building new audiences and navigating mergers and acquisitions, it happens for many reasons.
We’ve outlined five key reasons businesses rebrand – do you fit into any of these categories?
