The Flamingo team were recently invited by Callwell, one of our newest clients, to join them for the Agents Giving Summer Ball on Friday 14 July at Epsom Downs Racecourse. One of the biggest events in their calendar, the Summer Ball is an annual event for the Sales and Lettings industry, and Emma and Chris were delighted to join the Callwell team, who were the headline sponsors of the event.
Hosted by drag artist Barbs, the event started with a tasty three-course meal, before ‘the main event’ could begin. This took the form of a ‘Strictly’-themed dance competition, where agents from across the country took to the dance floor to perform routines they had been working on with dance pros over the previous few months. As performers outside work themselves, this was right up Emma and Chris’s street – and it was great to see how hard the competitors had worked in order to deliver some really strong performances. Congratulations to the winners, chosen by a panel of judges, those in the room and supporters who could text-to-vote.
The evening also featured the Agent Giving Fundraising Champion Awards, recognising agents’ charitable activity over the last year, including fundraising by climbing Kilimanjaro, raising money for local schools, and litter picking to keep their local communities clean.
There was also a charity raffle (which Chris had to remind Emma was not a competition!), and the evening finished with everyone hitting the dancefloor as the live band ‘Souled Out’ took to the stage.
A big thank you to the Callwell for inviting us. It was a great opportunity to find out more about our clients and their industry... and let our hair down a bit too! We had a ball!
