As we approach the season of pumpkin carving, frosty walks and hot chocolate by the fire, it’s time to reflect on another busy month at Flamingo and share some exciting news about what’s coming up...
The Midlands Business Network Expo
Towards the end of last month, some of our team headed to The National Motorcycle Museum Solihull for the Midlands Business Network Expo.
It was a great day, giving us the chance to speak to many different business owners and spread the Flamingo message!
Emma also presented her brand-new talk Let’s Build Your Marketing Strategy Together (in Under 30 Minutes). The talk was a huge success as a flurry of kind messages flooded Emma’s LinkedIn inbox and people rushed to the stand to congratulate her on another successful talk.

Flamingo Day Fun!
We also had our monthly Flamingo Day (and Friday feast!)
We’re proud to say that Flamingo’s turnover has grown every single year (sometimes as much as double the previous year) but this is because we make time to focus on marketing ourselves!
We find that setting Flamingo Days (where we focus ONLY on Flamingo) in the diary are essential for our own growth and they give us the opportunity to challenge how we work and what we are doing for our clients to provide the best level of service!

Why do we love working with local companies?
One of our values states, ‘We are not just a marketing agency – we are an extension of your team’.
We see it often – a lot of marketing agencies tend to work with hundreds of clients, who just become a number to them.
We work very differently. Our open office policy enables us to welcome our clients to pop in whenever they need to, whether that’s to discuss new ideas and strategies or even just to drop by for a coffee and a catch up!
Naturally, over the years we have attracted a number of clients a little further afield too, with one as far as Edinburgh! But we both make the effort to see each other in person 3-4 times a year.
However, if you’re local to us (we are in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire), it just makes it that little bit easier to form in-person relationships.
Plus, we ALWAYS have biscuits!
Looking for support in 2025?
Twice a year, we partner with a chosen charity to help them with their marketing, for free, to show our support. For the past six months we have been working alongside The Giles' Trust Brain Tumour Fund, helping them with their marketing and spreading the word about the brilliant work that they do.
Over the last six months, we have helped them to promote their fundraising events, designing banners, flyers and programmes for their events, as well as seating plans and table decorations.
We’re delighted to say that we are now looking out for a new charity to support in 2025.
