March 2023 Newsletter

Spring has arrived! The lambs are bounding around the fields behind our office, the flowers are blooming, and the birds are returning after their Winter migration.

Every business deals with seasonal changes, regardless of the products or services you provide. So wherever the peaks and troughs are in your trading throughout the year, you need to ensure your marketing campaigns have a clear goal, are landing at the right time, and are being seen by the right target audience.

It’s been a busy month (hence it taking until the 23rd March to write our newsletter!), however, we have some exciting updates this month, so let’s dive straight in…

Save the date

We are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at The Midlands Business Network Expo on Friday 21st April. This is a really exciting opportunity as it’s the first event we will be attending as an exhibitor rather than a delegate, to show off our new brand and get our message out there. I’m sure you’ll spot our stand a mile off – after all, we preach about standing out like a Flamingo in a flock of pigeons, so we’re hardly going to blend in, are we?

Come along and meet a variety of exhibitors who are offering a range of products and services to SMEs – not to mention the fantastic seminars running all day. You’ll be in great company!

Our stand will be located near the café. Grab a coffee and come and have a chat. Feel free to bring Emma a slice of cake when passing by… (she told us to put this in here.)

You can book your free tickets online here.

Win a Website Refresh and Business Starter Pack

One of our wonderful clients (Hipposerve) is running a competition for one lucky business owner who is just starting up, to have the hard work done for them!

We know that many of you are in the early stages of your business – so we asked very nicely to share this with our mailing list too, to give you all a chance to get your hands on this prize worth over £900!

You’ll get:

• A fully built out website
• A custom domain with email hosting
• A full year of web hosting
• An easy-to-use web builder so you can carry on evolving your new website over time

You’ve got until Friday 21st April to enter – and you can do that here.

And if you are the lucky winner, and you came from our mailing list… we’ll even throw in a free website audit for you to use once the new site is live – we’re nice like that 😉

Hipposerve are known for their ultra-fast, reliable and great value web hosting. They are so competitive in price and customer care, we even switched ours over to them without a second thought… that’s when the relationship began, and now we do their marketing!

They also do website transfers, so if your site is stuck on a clunky old platform that you’re not even sure how to use or if you have access to, they will move it onto a WordPress site that you have full control over - and you’ll have to look really hard to spot the difference! They are practically the magicians of the website and hosting world.

Calling all iPhone Users

iPhone photography has become increasingly popular over the past few years. This is due to the improvements Apple have made to help customers shoot, edit and share photos all in one place instantly, as well as the quality of the cameras, with the most recent iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max having 48-megapixel resolution – which is better quality than some DSLR cameras and lenses on the market.

With over 1.5 billion active iPhone users worldwide, iPhone photography is clearly on the rise. So here are a few tips to make the most of your iPhone camera!
