March is here and as you’re reading this, I’m currently living life to full on a beach in Thailand with my sister and partner.
The truth is, no holiday will ever come at the right time when you run your own business, but as I’m someone who always talks about work-life balance (see previous blog here), it would be wrong if I didn’t practice what I preach – wouldn’t it? SO for the next 2 weeks I’m fully switching off, as when I return I’ve got some BIG, exciting projects on for my clients and a lot to look forward to in the world of Flamingo Marketing Strategies as we head towards the summer months.
Although you’ll be pleased to know, I’ve been SUPER organised and written three spectacular blogs for you to delve into whilst I’m away. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I wish you a very successful month and can’t wait to speak to many of you when I return!
As I’m in Thailand – ไปก่อนนะ (said ‘Paikonna’) which means Bye for now!
Why Video Marketing is a smart choice for SME’s
If you’re not doing it… you need to start!
As more of us move towards video on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and we tuck into 15 seconds of guilty pleasures with Tik Tok, we’ve quickly become a generation obsessed with video over written communication, but how can your business tap into video marketing?
In this blog you’ll discover:
- What video marketing is
- Why you should be doing it
- What great video marketing looks like
- How you can get started
Stop adding to the fluff on Social Media
Everything we do comes back to social media in 2020, but that doesn’t mean we should post for the sake of posting. Here’s what you need to know about becoming a lean, mean posting machine, and cutting the fluff.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit… the list goes on. The possibilities are endless on social media for us, our friends and the brands we buy from. We’re a far cry from watching ice bucket challenges, the Harlem shuffle and Gareth Southgate x Drake memes, in fact, there’s more noise than ever on Facebook alone.
Facebook has 2.4 billion monthly users. LinkedIn has 280 billion feed updates each year. 500 million tweets are sent out each day. Quora has over 4 million questions posed. And Reddit generates 14 billion views per month. Amazing, right?
There is more noise than ever on social media. What do we mean by noise, and how can you become a better social media user for your business?
Marketing: Recognise the wannabes from the experts
There’s never been a better time to start your own business, but don’t let the wannabes of marketing put your hard work, and reputation, at risk.
Marketing is much more than common sense, and when done well, means only good things, but get it wrong, and you’ll know. Here’s how you can tell the difference between a marketing wannabe and an expert.
In this blog I will cover:
- Is marketing just common sense
- What are the principles of marketing?
- A checklist showing the tell-tale signs of a wannabe marketer
As always, I’m here to help.
If you are keen to do PROPER marketing. The right way. I’m more than happy to have a conversation with you once I return from my break (end of March).
Here at Flamingo Marketing Strategies we work with predominantly B2B companies who want an ongoing strategy, and for us to become their virtual marketing team.
